The Job

Based on site in Marrickville, this full-time position offers a hands-on opportunity to design, deliver, and maintain regulatory and internal compliance training programs. Reporting to the Head of Compliance, you will work closely with leadership teams and staff at all levels to build awareness, understanding and adherence to internal policies and legislative obligations.
  
You will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Deliver compliance training across all business units and states.
  • Develop and maintain induction and refresher training modules for employees.
  • Ensure staff understand internal policies, procedures and escalation protocols.
  • Mature and manage the Employee Due Diligence Program.
  • Maintain detailed training records and attendance logs.
  • Partner with stakeholders to tailor and update training content.
  • Conduct Q&A surveys bi-annually to assess training effectiveness.
  • Track completion rates and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Travel interstate as required to deliver face-to-face training sessions.
  • Support the Compliance team with reporting and related projects.    
You
   
You are an experienced trainer who can translate complex regulatory requirements into clear, engaging, and actionable content. Your communication style is confident and approachable, and you are comfortable presenting to diverse audiences. Organised, proactive, and detail-oriented, you take pride in delivering training that not only ticks the compliance box but genuinely strengthens organisational culture.
  
To be successful, in this role you must have experience in the following areas:  
  • Minimum 5 years' experience working as a Training Facilitator within the financial services or compliance sectors.
  • A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or an equivalent qualification, is required to be considered for this role.
  • Effective communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • The ability to simplify and communicate complex legislation.
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • A collaborative approach and the flexibility to travel as needed.
  • Experience maintaining training registers, records, and reporting metrics.
