They are currently seeking a Tax Advisory Officer to join their team in Parramatta, with an immediate start through to 30 June 2026, offering hybrid working arrangements.
The Job
Reporting through to a Manager, you will be accountable for:
- Prepare and lodge individual and trust tax returns in line with Australian tax legislation
- Support tax compliance activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Review financial records to ensure correct tax treatment
- Assist with deceased estate tax returns as required
- Maintain accurate client and tax records
- Respond to tax-related queries
- Ensure compliance with ATO and organisational requirements
You
To be successful for this opportunity, you must have experience in the following areas and possess the below personal qualities:
- Accounting background with tax preparation experience or strong tax knowledge
- Sound understanding of Australian tax legislation and compliance requirements
- Completion of the H&R Block Tax Course and/or relevant tax experience
- Experience using tax software such as MYOB, Xero or Reckon Elite
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Ongoing or completed tax-related studies (desirable)
