As a Software Developer, you will work across a modern technology stack, contributing to new development and the ongoing evolution of core business systems. You will:
- Build and maintain full stack applications using React and modern backend technologies
- Help develop and support custom APIs, an in house CRM platform and new Point of Sale (POS) functionality
- Learn to build serverless, event driven solutions using Azure Functions and cloud native services
- Contribute to the development and improvement of CRM data structures
- Take on increasing ownership of projects and technical decisions as your skills grow
- Work closely with a small, friendly and highly engaged internal technology team, with regular code reviews and mentoring
You do not need to tick every box. Our client is looking for strong foundations and a genuine passion for building software.
Essential:
- Up to 2 years’ commercial experience as a Full Stack or Backend Developer (graduates, internship and project experience will be considered)
- Solid JavaScript and TypeScript skills, with hands on React experience
- Working knowledge of Python
- Familiarity with Git and pull request workflows
- A curious, pragmatic mindset, good communication skills and a commitment to writing clean, maintainable code
- The ability to work in the Gold Coast office five days a week
- Exposure to Azure Functions or equivalent AWS or GCP serverless services
- Awareness of OAuth2 and token based authentication, including MSAL or Microsoft Entra ID
- Azure DevOps experience
- Mentoring and hands on guidance from experienced developers
- Genuine exposure to modern cloud and serverless technologies
- A clear path to more ownership and influence over technical direction
