The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Settlements Officer to join the team, supporting the end-to-end settlement process for asset finance transactions.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing settlements from approval through to funding, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Preparing and reviewing loan documentation in line with company policy and compliance requirements
- Liaising with brokers, clients, and internal teams to facilitate smooth settlements
- Following up outstanding documentation and settlement conditions
- Maintaining accurate records across internal systems
- Providing a high level of service to both internal and external stakeholders
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Minimum 12 months’ experience in settlements, loan processing, or financial services operations
- Exposure to asset finance or commercial lending (highly regarded)
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple transactions at once
- Confident communication skills, with the ability to liaise with a range of stakeholders
- A proactive and organised approach, with the ability to work within structured processes
- A team-focused mindset with the ability to work independently when required
