Reporting to the Head of Tax, this is a hands on technical role where you will be responsible for:
- Preparing income tax returns across all entity types, including companies, trusts, partnerships, individuals and SMSFs
- Preparing financial statements and activity statements in line with compliance requirements
- Supporting the Head of Tax on technical matters and client queries as they arise
- Maintaining current knowledge of compliance regulations to ensure accurate preparation of complex returns
- Liaising with the Australian Taxation Office on behalf of clients, effectively resolving tax related matters
- Building strong working relationships with the broader Business Services team, contributing to a collaborative and knowledge sharing culture
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Broad small or mid tier practice experience across companies, trusts, partnerships, individuals and SMSFs
- CA qualification highly regarded, though not essential
- Strong technical grounding in income tax returns, financial statements and activity statements
- A genuine desire to work in a close knit, collaborative team environment
- Comfortable working in trendy, renovated Mosman offices
