In these high level Policy Advisor and Specialist roles, you will be responsible for:
- Lead policy development, implementation, and review to improve outcomes.
- Provide expert, timely advice to support departmental decision-making.
- Conduct research and analysis to inform evidence-based policy.
- Monitor and evaluate policy impacts for effective service delivery.
- Draft reports, briefs, and correspondence on key issues.

To be successful in this role, you must have experience in the following:
- 2+ years of government experience in policy development and implementation.
- Experience engaging with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander policy areas will be highly regarded.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and provide evidence-based advice.
- Effective problem-solving skills to address challenges during implementation.
