Reporting to the Director, Senior Media Advisors will be responsible for:
- Coordinate media content with the Media Manager and relevant experts.
- Identify and manage emerging media and reputational risks.
- Advise executives and teams on media and communications strategies.
- Draft media releases, statements and responses.
- Support campaigns, events and key initiatives with proactive media engagement.
- Prepare speeches, briefings and FAQs.
- Maintain relationships with journalists, Ministerial Offices and senior stakeholders.

To succeed in these roles, you will have demonstrated experience in:
- 5+ years’ experience in media and/or journalism.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong media relations, issues management and reputational risk skills.
- Excellent writing, editing and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- Experience managing complex media matters across diverse outlets.
- Ability to deliver accurate, timely communications across competing priorities.
