Reporting to the Finance Manager in this project-based Senior Financial Analyst role, you will be responsible for:
- Prepare and submit all PTA and carry-forward requests accurately and on time.
- Deliver monthly management reports and PMO financial updates.
- Review and reconcile general ledger and cost centre accounts.
- Lead accurate budget planning, forecasting, tracking and reporting activities.
- Partner with eight Project Managers to provide real-time financial analysis, manage budget performance and support delivery outcomes.
- Provide strategic financial advice and assurance to the Program Director.
- Deliver detailed financial modelling, costing and analysis to support project briefs and initiation documents, and provide expert advice across teams.
- Prepare clear, accurate and timely responses to Ministerial and senior stakeholder requests, including ad hoc financial queries.

To be successful in this role, you must have experience in the following:
- Minimum two years’ experience in a Financial Analyst role within a large or complex organisation.
- Big 4 consulting experience highly regarded.
- SAP experience strongly preferred.
- Advanced Excel capability essential.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities and deliver to tight deadlines.
