The business unit is seeking three experienced Senior Finance Analysts with demonstrated experience in developing robust business cases and undertaking cost-benefit analysis within complex environments. These are initial 12-month contract opportunities, offering a hybrid working arrangement with offices located in the Sydney CBD.

   
The Job
In this versatile Senior Finance Analyst role, you will be responsible for the following duties:
  • Lead the development of strategic business cases, investment proposals and funding submissions.
  • Provide commercial and financial analysis, including financial modelling and cost-benefit analysis, to support investment decisions.
  • Prepare high-quality executive papers, governance documentation and presentations to senior management.
  • Engage and collaborate with stakeholders to facilitate workshops, gather requirements and drive project outcomes.
  • Support strategic planning, transformation and governance initiatives across large-scale infrastructure and technology programs. 
   
You
To be successful in this role, you must have experience in the following areas:
  • 5+ years' experience developing large-scale business cases in strategy, consulting, corporate finance or commercial analysis.
  • Experience in a Tier 1A or Tier 1B consulting environment is highly regarded.
  • Demonstrated experience preparing treasury-compliant business cases and executive-level documentation.
  • Strong financial modelling, commercial analysis and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, facilitation and communication skills.
  • Experience within government, consulting, infrastructure, ICT or telecommunications environments is highly regarded.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and deliver outcomes in complex, fast-paced environments.
