Reporting to the Head of Portfolio Management, you’ll build and enhance the data infrastructure, reporting, and commercial insights that fuel smarter portfolio and pricing strategies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Tracking portfolio performance metrics, identifying emerging trends, and building narratives that drive commercial decision-making.
- Designing and maintaining automated Power BI dashboards and SQL data models to support financial and operational insights.
- Partnering with Finance and Commercial teams to translate business questions into analytical solutions.
- Supporting portfolio optimisation, pricing analysis, and performance reporting across business streams.
- Enhancing data models, streamlining reporting processes, and promoting self-service analytics adoption through training and collaboration.
- 5+ years’ experience in FP&A, Commercial Analytics, or Sales/Portfolio Analysis within financial or asset finance environments.
- Proven skill in connecting data insights to strategic and commercial outcomes.
- Advanced Power BI expertise (data modelling, DAX, dashboard design).
- Strong SQL proficiency and ability to work across multiple datasets.
- Confident communicator skilled in stakeholder engagement and storytelling through data.
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- CFA qualifications or progress toward CFA preferred (CA/CPA not required).
- Experience with data warehouse concepts, ETL processes, or tools like Microsoft Fabric or Azure Data Factory.
- Curiosity about AI and its application to analytics automation.
- Familiarity with Python, R, or other analytics languages.
