Headquartered in the heart of the North Sydney, the business is entering an exciting growth phase and is now looking for a Collections Officer to join their high performing team on a part time basis working 4 days per week.

The Role
Reporting to the COO, you’ll be responsible for efficiently managing overdue accounts and maintaining strong client relationships to ensure positive collection outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Contacting customers with overdue accounts to arrange repayment plans.
- Assessing delinquent accounts and determining appropriate collection strategies.
- Liaising with internal teams and external agencies to facilitate resolutions.
- Monitoring payment agreements and ensuring compliance with terms.
- Escalating accounts when legal or advanced recovery action is required.
- Maintaining accurate and detailed records of all correspondence and actions.
- Preparing reports on collection performance and recovery progress.
To succeed in this role, you will bring strong experience in collections within asset finance or a related environment, along with:
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in collections or recoveries.
- Proven negotiation and communication skills with a customer first approach.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Ability to work autonomously while managing multiple priorities.
- Sound knowledge of debt recovery legislation and compliance standards.
