Our client is a well-regarded NSW Government organisation committed to improving the lives of individuals and families through tailored, person-centred services that respond to their unique needs.
They are currently seeking a dedicated Senior Client Service Officer to support and engage with members of the community, including those experiencing vulnerable circumstances.
This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, based in their Parramatta office. Immediate start through to Friday, 1 May 2026, with the possibility of extension.
The Job:
- Act as the first point of contact via phone for clients seeking support.
- Handle inbound phone and written enquiries, delivering high-quality, trauma-informed service.
- Provide clear and accurate information, advice and referrals in line with relevant policies and legislation.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective service delivery.
- Maintain accurate records and consistently meet compliance requirements, KPIs and performance targets.
You:
To be successful for this community focused role you must have:
- Minimum 12 months’ experience in a community services and/or social services role.
- Experience supporting community members, including those in vulnerable circumstances, is highly regarded.
- Demonstrated case management experience will be viewed favourably.
- A genuine passion for supporting others, with proven ability to demonstrate empathy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working with a diverse client base, including individuals with complex needs.
- Well-developed customer service skills, with the ability to manage client expectations and resolve conflict effectively.
