This respected NSW Government department plays a key role in advancing digital initiatives across the state and is currently managing several high-impact projects.

They are seeking a Scheduling and Resourcing Lead / Master Scheduler to lead planning, scheduling and dependency management, providing expert support for the successful delivery of capital programs and projects.

 
The Job…
Reporting into the Director in this Master Scheduler role, you will be responsible for the following duties:
  • Lead portfolio scheduling using Oracle Primavera P6, ensuring alignment with business priorities and strategic objectives.
  • Develop and maintain an integrated master schedule across programs and projects, providing accurate reporting and performance insights.
  • Manage portfolio dependencies, facilitate planning workshops, and maintain dependency registers.
  • Establish and embed scheduling standards, templates, and best practices to improve consistency and maturity.
  • Support Program and Project Managers with schedule development, risk management, and dependency planning.
  • Conduct schedule reviews, critical path analysis, change impact assessments, and resolve scheduling and resource conflicts.

To be successful in this role, you must have experience in the following areas:
  • Extensive experience in master scheduling, portfolio planning and dependency management within large, complex programs.
  • Advanced expertise in Oracle Primavera P6 (administration and scheduling).
  • Experience working within government or other large, highly regulated organisations is highly regarded.
  • Extensive experience leading forecast planning and resource management in a complex, matrix environment.
  • Strong experience developing and maintaining integrated master schedules across multiple projects and programs.
  • Proven ability to perform critical path analysis, schedule assurance, and manage schedule risks and dependencies.
