As our business continues to grow, we are looking to appoint an experienced Recruitment Consultant to take ownership of an established temporary recruitment desk supporting our commercial banking, finance and accounting clients.
The Role
This is a warm desk with an active temp book and existing client relationships in place. The role is delivery-focused, with minimal new business development required.
You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end temporary recruitment process, working closely with both clients and candidates to ensure smooth placements and high-quality outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing an existing portfolio of commercial clients
- Recruiting for temporary roles across banking, finance and accounting
- Candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing and placement
- Managing temporary contractors throughout their assignments
- Liaising with clients on extensions, performance and workforce planning
- Working closely with the leadership and operations team to ensure compliance and payroll accuracy
About You
You will be an experienced recruitment consultant who enjoys managing a temp desk and building long-term relationships.
You will ideally bring:
- 1-2 years previous experience running a temporary desk
- Exposure to banking, finance, accounting or professional services recruitment
- Strong candidate management and stakeholder communication skills
- A consultative, organised and professional approach
- The ability to manage multiple roles and priorities in a fast-paced environment
