Our client is a growing and highly respected organisation that takes great pride in its contribution to New South Wales and the broader Australian community. As the organisation continues to grow, there are exciting opportunities to support its expansion and help drive new business initiatives.

They are seeking an experienced Recruitment Business Partner with a proven track record in end-to-end recruitment. This opportunity would suit someone with an agency recruitment background who is looking to make the move into an internal role.

This is an immediate-start opportunity, offered on a temporary contract through to 27 June 2027, based in Sydney CBD.


The Job
In this exciting Recruitment Business Partner role reporting into the Recruitment Lead, you will be responsible for the following duties:
  • Meet with hiring managers to understand recruitment needs, role requirements and team dynamics, then assess applicants against these expectations.
  • Provide expert advice on recruitment and talent strategies to support organisational effectiveness and workforce planning.
  • Coach and advise senior management and executives on consistent talent practices, recruitment approaches and continuous improvement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and business units.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes to deliver high-quality hires and support a positive workplace culture.
  • Develop tailored interview guides, questions and assessment techniques to ensure a consistent and effective selection process.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of organisation-wide recruitment campaigns and talent initiatives.

You

To be successful in this Recruitment Business Partner opportunity, you must have experience in the following areas:
  • Minimum four years’ experience managing end-to-end recruitment, ideally in a role partnering closely with hiring managers and senior stakeholders.
  • Previous agency recruitment experience will be highly regarded, particularly experience recruiting across a range of sectors and role types.
  • Exposure to NSW Government or a government environment will be beneficial.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships and provide trusted, practical recruitment advice.
