The Job
  
As a Recoveries Officer, you’ll be responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts within the asset finance space. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys resolving complex matters with both empathy and commercial judgement. 

Your key duties will include:
  • Managing recovery and repossession accounts across multiple product lines
  • Contacting customers to negotiate payment arrangements, settlements and asset returns
  • Working closely with solicitors, agents and auction partners
  • Assessing files and recommending recovery strategies in line with policy
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements  
This temporary role offers immediate variety and the chance to support a busy recoveries team during a peak period.
  
  
You
  
To be successful, you’ll bring:  
  • Minimum 2 years previous experience in recoveries or collections
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to manage sensitive conversations
  • Solid understanding of credit and compliance principles
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Availability to commence immediately for an initial 3-month contract (with potential to extend)  
You’ll be comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and take pride in achieving results that balance customer care with commercial outcomes.
