The Job
As a Recoveries Officer, you’ll be responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts within the asset finance space. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys resolving complex matters with both empathy and commercial judgement.
Your key duties will include:
- Managing recovery and repossession accounts across multiple product lines
- Contacting customers to negotiate payment arrangements, settlements and asset returns
- Working closely with solicitors, agents and auction partners
- Assessing files and recommending recovery strategies in line with policy
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements
You
To be successful, you’ll bring:
- Minimum 2 years previous experience in recoveries or collections
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to manage sensitive conversations
- Solid understanding of credit and compliance principles
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Availability to commence immediately for an initial 3-month contract (with potential to extend)
