An opportunity is now available for an experienced Proposals Coordinator with a background in engineering and/or construction and strong commercial acumen. This is an ASAP start contract through to 27 April 2027.
Please note, the successful candidate can be based anywhere in NSW, with flexible hybrid working arrangements available. Office locations include Wollongong, Parramatta, Coffs Harbour, Port Macquarie, Lismore, Dubbo, Bathurst and Wagga Wagga.
The Job
Reporting to the Manager, as a Proposals Coordinator you will be responsible for:
- Work with Principal Engineers and Senior Project Managers to identify and pursue opportunities, including tenders, direct engagements and contract extensions.
- Lead end-to-end bid and proposal development, from preparation and review through to timely submission of high-quality documentation.
- Write and review proposals, and develop training materials to uplift proposal capability across the organisation.
- Build and maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships, with a clear understanding of client needs and portfolios.
- Support overall team performance through effective coordination of proposals and strong commercial awareness.
You
To be successful in this role, you must have experience in the following:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in bid management within engineering or construction environments.
- Background in project management, construction, or engineering, with the ability to understand and translate technical services.
- Experience working closely with technical teams to develop accurate and effective proposals.
- High attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy and quality in delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume workloads and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
