The Job
Reporting through to the Manager, you will be accountable for:
Project Officer
- Provide project and technical support, preparing reports, managing documentation, coordinating resources, and monitoring project plans.
- Maintain accurate project records and reports to support effective monitoring, evaluation, and achievement of objectives.
- Engage and coordinate with stakeholders through meetings, consultations, and working groups.
- Deliver administrative and business services including finance, HR, purchasing, travel, and vendor management in line with policies and procedures.
- Prepare high-quality correspondence, reports, and presentations while ensuring excellent customer service and efficient response to inquiries.
- Support meetings and small projects by coordinating logistics, managing documentation, and contributing to process improvements.
- Provide administrative support through records management, correspondence, and coordination of meetings and events.
- Prepare and manage documentation, financial transactions, and purchasing in line with organisational standards and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and databases while managing inquiries and the team’s generic email inbox.
You
To be successful for this opportunity, you must have experience in the following areas and possess the below personal qualities:
- At least 12 months’ experience in a similar admin and/or project capacity ideally within the public sector, non-profit, or emergency response sectors.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage empathetically and professionally with a wide range of stakeholders, including community members and response teams.
- Proficiency in digital systems, with confidence using multiple databases, online tools, and reporting platforms to manage information accurately and efficiently.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with a calm, solutions-focused approach in high-volume, fast-paced environments.
