They are seeking a Project Officer to support a community-focused project, based in Lismore, on an initial 6-month contract.
The Job
Reporting through to the Manager, you will be accountable for:
- Provide project support, preparing reports, managing documentation, coordinating resources, and monitoring project plans.
- Maintain accurate project records and reports to support effective monitoring, evaluation, and achievement of objectives.
- Engage and coordinate with stakeholders through meetings, consultations, and working groups.
- Extensive database maintenance.
- Coordinating internal/external stakeholders.
You
To be successful for this opportunity, you must have experience in the following areas and possess the below personal qualities:
- At least 12 months’ experience in a similar project capacity ideally within the public sector, non-profit, or emergency response sectors.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage empathetically and professionally with a wide range of stakeholders, including community members and response teams.
- Proficiency in digital systems, with confidence using multiple databases, online tools, and reporting platforms to manage information accurately and efficiently.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with a calm, solutions-focused approach in high-volume, fast-paced environments.
