Reporting to the Finance Director, in this Principal Finance Advisor role, you will be responsible for:
- Develop and deliver project financial reports, including dashboards and reporting tools
- Provide financial analysis, including insights on variances, trends and overall financial performance
- Support the monthly cash flow process and reporting in collaboration with the regional finance team
- Maintain accurate and reconciled financial records using systems such as SAP and Oracle Primavera Unifier (3PCM)
- Collaborate with program and project teams, as well as internal and external stakeholders, to deliver clear and timely financial reporting
- Contribute as a senior member of the Project Controls team, supporting successful program and project delivery

To be successful in this role, you must have experience in the following:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in finance, accounting or business; CPA highly regarded (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting and reporting
- Government finance experience, ideally in a leadership role
- Strong systems skills, including SAP (desirable) and advanced Excel/Power BI
- Ability to analyse financial performance and provide clear insights to stakeholders
- High level of integrity and ability to manage sensitive information (criminal history check required)
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
