Hours are flexible around a 9am to 5pm day with a 30 minute lunch break.
Key responsibilities include:
- Processing a weekly payroll along with a separate smaller monthly payroll run
- Working across multiple awards and Enterprise Agreements
- Accurately calculating shift allowances, penalty rates and other complex pay elements
- Using a modern payroll and workforce management system, with exposure to other payroll adjacent systems considered a bonus
- Managing payroll tax and related admin

- Communicating clearly and confidently with stakeholders across the business
- Working autonomously to solve problems and resolve complicated pay queries
You'll be an experienced payroll professional, who enjoys the satisfaction of owning and running a payroll function end to end. You're comfortable working under weekly time pressure, and you bring a solutions focused, problem solving approach to complex award and EA interpretation. You communicate well with people at all levels and are equally happy working independently.
