Terrific opportunity to join a NSW Govt agency with offices in the CBD as a 3 month Payroll Officer supporting 120 internal staff in an end to end payroll capacity.

- Manage end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with legislation and procedures.
- Support management and staff with payroll, leave administration, and workers' compensation claims, while assisting in recruitment and other HR functions.
- Maintain accurate HR data, provide statistical reports, and identify areas for improvement in HR and payroll practices.
- Administer the organization's payroll and HR systems, address complex payroll issues, and actively participate in internal and external audits.
- Conduct employment assessments for prospective employees and contribute to creating a supportive work environment.
To be successful in this role you will have
- Minimum of 2 years end to end payroll experience using iChris or Chris21
- knowledge of PAYG and superannuation legislations
- Excellent communication skills
