The Company
Our client is a well-known government organisation who are seeking a passionate Marketing Officer to support integrated marketing campaigns across digital, paid media, out-of-home and direct marketing channels.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience delivering marketing campaigns, promotions, events, and visitor engagement initiatives, along with strong stakeholder management skills.

Please note, this is a contract role commencing ASAP through to 15 October 2026, with a strong possibility of extension. Hybrid working arrangements are available, with offices located in Sydney CBD and Parramatta.
 

The Job
During this Marketing Officer assignment, you will be responsible for the following duties:
  • Support the delivery of integrated marketing campaigns and promotional initiatives across multiple brands and programs.
  • Monitor campaign performance, visitor insights, and market trends to support reporting and strategic planning.
  • Create and publish content across websites, social media, and eDM platforms.
  • Coordinate the production of print, digital, and outdoor marketing collateral within budget.
  • Promote events, services, and visitor experiences through engaging marketing communications.
  • Maintain stakeholder databases and provide administrative support, including reporting, invoicing, and documentation.

You

To be successful in this role, you must have experience in the following areas:
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar marketing or communications role.
  • Experience within environmental, community, parks, or public sector organisations is highly regarded.
  • Previous government experience is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering marketing campaigns, promotions, events, and visitor engagement initiatives across diverse programs and stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of audience engagement strategies, industry trends, and best practices.
  • Proficient in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop.
  • Experienced in digital marketing, social media management, website CMS, and eDM platforms.
