The Job

   
As a Lending Officer, you’ll play a key role in supporting relationship managers and contributing to the growth of the client portfolio. Your responsibilities will include:    

  • Proactively monitoring client credit activity, including arrears, excesses, and upcoming maturities, and initiating appropriate follow-up actions
  • Coordinating with credit administration to ensure timely progression of loan applications and resolution of outstanding matters
  • Maintaining accurate and compliant lending documentation, ensuring all client files meet internal audit and regulatory standards
  • Managing post-approval processes such as drafting Letters of Offer, arranging valuations, and facilitating legal instructions
  • Embedding risk and compliance protocols into daily operations, with strict adherence to internal policies and training requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have experience in the below areas and posses the below personal qualities:  
  • Minimum 2 years experience as a Lending Officer, supporting Relationship Managers
  • A proactive approach to risk management and client support
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities
  • A commitment to continuous learning and alignment with company values
