The Job….
Reporting through to the Credit Manager you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Assessment of commercial cash flow finance applications relating to eComm clients for lending purposes.
- Offering recommendations and commentaries to management to approve / decline loans.
- Collaborating with internal and external teams to ensure the accuracy of deals and their successful progression towards approval.
- Engaging with both internal and external departments to address any enquiries or concerns.
- Work within allocated processes and procedures and provide recommendations for efficiencies.
- Additional finance related tasks as required.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Bachelors degree in commerce, finance, accounting or economics with a natural flair for financial analysis
- Relevant work experience in financial analysis, banking, risk management, or credit assessment. This could include internships, entry-level positions, or previous roles as a Credit Analyst.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, demonstrated through academic achievements, professional experiences, or involvement in relevant projects or case competitions.
- An understanding of financial markets, banking regulations, risk management practices, and industry-specific knowledge in areas such as commercial, corporate, or retail lending.
- Proficiency in spreadsheet software like Microsoft Excel, database management, and financial modelling tools. Knowledge of programming languages like Python or R, and familiarity with statistical software may also be advantageous.
- Proven self starter who is detailed orientated, passionate about enhancing stakeholder relationships, willing to challenge the status quo and extremely organised.
