Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Working as part of the Accounts team you will be responsible for end to end Accounts Payable duties.
- Clarify invoices when required and respond to invoice and payment queries from stakeholders.
- Work with internal contacts to gain approvals for invoice payments.
- Completed all Accounts Payable related month end tasks by the required due dates.
- Assist with AR and cash reconciliation duties as required.
- General office duties including mail, banking, petty cash, adhoc administration tasks and internal queries.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have experience in the following:
- Relevant degree or TAFE qualification in accounting with six months experience as an Accounts Officer
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience is an advantage but not essential.
- Intermediate Excel skills along with a thirst for putting your accounting knowledge into practice.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Exceptional written & verbal communication skills with a bubbly and energetic approach to work.
