The Job…..
Reporting through to the owner of the organisation, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Manage all financial and management reporting, treasury and compliance obligations across multiple entities and jurisdictions, as well as provide predictive data analytics and financial decision support.
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts and financial reports.
- Consolidation of financial data across multiple entities.
- Lead, guide and inspire an offshore team to delivery accurate sets of accounts.
- Work on Business Central and SQL based architecture to streamline systems and build out real-time reporting capabilities.
To be successful in this role, you must have experience in the following areas:
- CA or CPA accounting professional who understands the challenges facing a high growth business with strong commercial acumen.
- Proven track record of leading and guiding a successful finance team (onshore or offshore), implementing automated workflows and system enhancements.
- Your background will include group consolidation expertise, intercompany accounting management, a deep technical accounting knowledge of relevant accounting standards and multi entity month end close coordination.
- Extensive experience in budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and translating financial data in valuable operational insights by using data to identify trends, risks and opportunities to improve efficiencies, margins and profitability.
- Familiarity with treasury functions including asset management, hedging, cashflow forecasting and monitoring market trends
- Solid understanding of complex tax structures and compliance requirements working with external tax experts.
- Use of SQL and Business Central (or similar) to support system efficiencies and ensure scalability.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to challenge processes, deliver constructive feedback and overcome roadblocks.
