The Company
Our client is a growing, well-regarded organisation proud of its contribution to New South Wales and the wider community. With several major projects and initiatives underway, they’re seeking additional expertise to support this growth.

They’re now looking for a Finance Business Partner with hands-on experience delivering strategic and operational finance advice across capital works programs.

The role is offered on a 12-month contract with flexible hybrid working arrangements based in the Sydney CBD.


The Job
Supporting the Associate Director, as a Finance Business Partner you will be mainly responsible for the following duties:
  • Partner with executives, and teams to provide clear financial advice and support.
  • Deliver financial analysis and insights to support senior decision-making, including costs, budgets and funding options.
  • Strengthen budget, forecast and risk management capability.
  • Turn complex data into clear, meaningful insights that tell the business story.
  • Research and consolidate information from multiple internal and external sources.
  • Lead the delivery of accurate, timely management and financial reporting.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders across major infrastructure and property projects.
  
You
To be successful in this role, you must have experience in the following areas:
  • Min 2 years’ experience in a similar Senior Finance/Business Partnering role with tertiary qualifications in business, finance, or accounting.
  • Full CA, CPA, or CIMA membership.
  • Strong experience in management accounting and financial analysis, reporting and budgeting.
  • SAP, TM1 BW reporting will be highly beneficial
  • Previous experience working on capital works programs will be favoured.
  • NSW Gov experience is highly advantageous.
  • Be a self-starter and commercially astute.
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills.
