As a People & Culture Business Partner, Case Management, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Manage complex employee relations matters end to end, including grievances, workplace complaints, conduct and underperformance.
- Manage health, wellbeing and fitness-for-work matters, particularly non-work-related injuries.
- Provide practical, risk-balanced advice in line with legislation, policies and procedural fairness.
- Prepare accurate and defensible documentation, correspondence and case records.
- Partner with managers, P&C specialist teams and stakeholders to resolve matters effectively.
- Exercise sound judgement and discretion when handling sensitive and contentious issues.
- Prioritise multiple cases concurrently while meeting tight deadlines.

To be successful in this role, you will have experience in the following areas:
- Demonstrated experience independently managing complex and sensitive employee relations cases in a high-volume environment.
- Experience within government or a highly regulated environment is strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation, industrial instruments and public sector policy frameworks.
- Proven ability to apply procedural fairness and manage risk in contentious matters.
- Experience in employee relations, industrial relations or workers’ compensation case management.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and documentation skills.
- The ability to work autonomously, exercise sound judgement and deliver from day one.
- Confidence navigating digital tools and Microsoft Office applications.
