The Opportunity
Reporting to the Collections Team Leader, you will manage an early arrears portfolio of asset finance accounts up to 30 days past due. This is a fast-paced collections environment where you'll work with customers to achieve positive outcomes while meeting service and compliance standards.
You will be responsible for the following duties:
- Managing an early arrears portfolio (up to 30 days past due)
- Conducting inbound and outbound collections calls
- Negotiating payment arrangements and resolving overdue accounts
- Assessing customer circumstances and identifying appropriate repayment solutions
- Liaising with internal departments to resolve customer enquiries
- Maintaining accurate records and complying with internal policies and regulatory requirements
- Achieving individual collections and quality KPIs
About You
To be successful in this opportunity, you must have experience in the following areas:
- Previous experience working in a collections, arrears or recoveries environment
- Exposure to asset finance, banking or financial services will be highly regarded
- Confidence managing difficult conversations while maintaining a professional and empathetic approach
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
- The ability to work in a KPI-driven environment
- Immediate availability or the ability to commence at short notice
