Based in Macquarie Park, the office is easily accessible via public transport and offers onsite parking. You’ll be supported by an approachable leadership team and benefit from ongoing training and development throughout your nine month fixed term contract.

The Opportunity
Due to growth, the customer service team has been exceptionally busy and is looking for a dedicated Customer Service Officer to join the team.  Reporting to the Team Leader you will play a key role in supporting customers and answering queries across an assetfinance portfolio.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Handle inbound calls covering a wide range of customer enquiries, ensuring a first class experience for both clients and the dealer network.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to written correspondence from customers and dealers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to effectively manage relationships across consumer and commercial customer segments.
  • Take ownership of complex cases, delivering solutions and supporting the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively across the wider operations team, providing support to other business areas when needed.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex processes clearly to clients and senior stakeholders.
  • Previous contact centre experience is an advantage, though not essential as comprehensive training will be provided.
  • Strong understanding of Financial Services, or a tertiary qualification (completed or in progress) in a related field.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, will be highly regarded.
  • Exposure to asset finance is advantageous but not essential.
  • A customer centric approach with strong communication and negotiation skills is essential to your success.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast paced, professional setting.
  • A proactive, reliable attitude and a strong focus on achieving positive outcomes.
