Reporting through to the Credit Operations Manager your role will involve:
- Guide, mentor, and inspire the credit analyst team to deliver exceptional service in a collaborative environment.
- Assist the Credit Operations Manager in strategic planning, aligning with company goals and customer service standards.
- Identify system enhancements and work with IT on continuous improvement processes.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and coaching sessions, promoting team development and a strong support culture.
- Create an inclusive work atmosphere that values all team members, ensuring they feel appreciated, connected, and engaged.
- Oversee loan application processing, maintaining high performance and compliance standards.
- Proactively support credit assessment, utilizing delegated lending authority to assist the team as needed.
- Identify training needs, developing tailored plans to enhance decision-making skills and build team capabilities.
- Manage team performance and well-being, fostering a culture that prioritizes growth and work-life balance.
- Collaborate with colleagues to facilitate regular training sessions and consistent communication across locations.
- Work with credit management and leadership teams to ensure customer satisfaction through aligned processes and strategies.
- Support internal audits and investigations, adhering to compliance guidelines and staying updated on relevant legislative frameworks and credit policies.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Strong background in all credit aspects of asset finance with an in-depth understanding of non-bank lending practices and regulations.
- A naturally curious nature with strong problem-solving, data analysis, and risk assessment skills.
