The Job
   
We are seeking a Credit Officer to join the team on a temporary 4-month contract, commencing immediately. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the effective management of the organisation’s credit and collections processes. Your responsibilities will include:  

• Monitor and manage debtor accounts, ensuring timely payments and accurate records.
• Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve account queries.
• Negotiate repayment arrangements and manage overdue accounts with professionalism.
• Assist with banking and allocations while maintaining efficient account processes.
• Communicate with clients by phone and email, balancing collections with strong relationship management.

• Minimum 2 years experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or commercial collections
• Experience working in the FMCG sector is advantageous
• Experience working with SAP or a large ERP system is required
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
• A proactive approach with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues
• High attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
