The Job
We are seeking a Credit Officer to join the team on a temporary 4-month contract, commencing immediately. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the effective management of the organisation’s credit and collections processes. Your responsibilities will include:
- Monitor and manage debtor accounts, ensuring timely payments and accurate records.
- Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve account queries.
- Negotiate repayment arrangements and manage overdue accounts with professionalism.
- Assist with banking and allocations while maintaining efficient account processes.
- Communicate with clients by phone and email, balancing collections with strong relationship management.

You
We’re seeking a motivated, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a busy environment. To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Minimum 2 years experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or commercial collections
- Experience working in the FMCG sector is advantageous
- Experience working with SAP or a large ERP system is required
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- A proactive approach with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues
- High attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
