The Role
Reporting to the Senior Credit Analyst, this junior support role sits within a growing credit team and is integral to ensuring smooth, accurate, and compliant processing of commercial finance applications. You will work across both digital and manual systems, providing essential administrative and operational support throughout the credit lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities include:
Credit Assessment Support
  • Support the assessment of commercial asset finance and novated lease applications, ensuring all data is captured accurately and completely
  • Assist in preparing credit submissions and commentary for applications within or outside policy guidelines
  • Track application status and manage pipeline reports to ensure nothing falls through the cracks
  • Coordinate with the Credit Manager to prioritise workloads and meet turnaround targets
Identity Verification & Compliance (KYC/AML)
  • Conduct Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks on applicants in line with regulatory and internal policy requirements
  • Verify identity documents and supporting materials, escalating any anomalies or concerns to the Credit Manager
  • Maintain accurate compliance records and ensure all verification steps are documented and audit-ready
Administration & Operations
  • Manage and maintain credit files across both digital platforms and manual/paper-based systems with a high degree of accuracy
  • Prepare and send credit correspondence, approval letters, and condition precedent documentation
  • Liaise with internal teams (sales, settlements, compliance) and external parties (brokers, clients, introducers) to resolve queries and progress applications
  • Monitor outstanding conditions and pending items, proactively chasing updates to prevent delays
About You:
Experience & Qualifications
  • Ideally you will have 1-2 years experience in commercial asset finance, novated leasing, or a related credit/lending support function
  • Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline (or currently working towards)
  • Demonstrated understanding of KYC and AML requirements in a financial services context is preferred
Skills & Personal Attributes
  • Exceptional attention to detail as accuracy is non-negotiable in this role
  • Highly organised with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and competing deadlines simultaneously
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable navigating CRM systems, credit platforms, and Microsoft Office; quick to adapt to new tools
  • Analytical mindset with a proactive, solutions focused approach to problem solving
