This is a newly created role reporting directly to the Compliance Manager. Your responsibilities will include:
- Monitor compliance across lending operations to ensure adherence with NCCP, ASIC requirements, AML/CTF obligations, privacy legislation, and responsible lending frameworks
- Conduct compliance reviews and identify potential breaches, incidents, or process weaknesses across customer service, collections, hardship, and lending functions
- Review customer outcomes, complaints, hardship matters, and operational processes to ensure fair, transparent, and compliant practices are maintained
- Assist with maintaining compliance frameworks, policies, procedures, registers, and remediation activities to support ongoing governance improvements
- Prepare compliance reporting, monitoring summaries, and documentation for management, audits, and regulatory obligations
- Support compliance training initiatives and promote a strong risk, governance, and customer-focused culture across the business

To be successful in this opportunity, you must have experience in the following areas and possess the below personal qualities:
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience within compliance, financial crime, or risk roles across financial services, consumer lending, or non-bank lending environments
- Strong understanding of NCCP requirements, responsible lending obligations, AML/CTF frameworks, and ASIC regulatory expectations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify compliance risks and support practical business outcomes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and build relationships across multiple stakeholder groups.
- Relevant qualifications in Compliance, Risk, Finance, Business, or Law will be highly regarded
