They are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Communications Specialist for a 12-month contract based in the Sydney CBD!
The Job
Reporting into the Communications Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Write, edit, and proof content for fortnightly Mailchimp newsletters and keep mailing lists up to date.
- Develop engaging internal communication plans across SharePoint, Teams, digital signage, and email.
- Assist with planning and delivering hybrid events, including logistics and communications for internal and external stakeholders.
- Create, edit, and proof social media content; manage channels, monitor engagement, and report on performance across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and X.
- Update and maintain website content in Drupal.
You
To be successful in this role, you must have experience in the following areas:
- 2-5 years experience in a similar Communications focused role.
- Strong writing and communication skills for varied audiences.
- Experience coordinating hybrid events.
- Website management skills (Drupal or similar CMS).
- Social media experience with an understanding of analytics.
- Highly organised and detail-oriented.
- NSW Government experience is highly advantageous.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
