The Job...
This is a hands-on, high-impact position where you’ll:

• Analyse financial and operational data across a wide range of industries—from SaaS and healthcare to hospitality and professional services.
• Assess credit risk with precision, balancing growth potential with sound underwriting principles.
• Join customer calls to understand their business model, funding needs, and future plans.
• Help design and implement new credit processes, tools, and frameworks to support scalable lending.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and product teams to improve customer onboarding and long-term funding relationships.
• Learn how the loan book is monitored, how risk is managed, and how early warning signals are detected.
• Contribute to cross-functional projects that influence how lending decisions are made globally.

• 3+ years of experience in commercial lending, credit analysis, or investment—ideally within a bank, fund, or fintech.
• Strong exposure to SME/SMB lending in Australia, with a deep understanding of different business models and sector-specific risks.
• Proven ability to interpret financial statements, management accounts, and financial models.
• Confident communicator with experience presenting insights to senior stakeholders.
• CPA, ACCA, CFA, or CIMA qualifications are valued—but not essential. Candidates working toward a professional designation are encouraged to apply.
