As a key member of the Data Analytics team, you'll report to the Head of Portfolio Management to transform commercial data into strategic insights that shape pricing, portfolio performance, and business growth.
In this role, you will:
- Analyse portfolio performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities that drive commercial decisions.
- Build interactive Power BI dashboards and robust SQL based data models to automate reporting and improve visibility across the business.
- Partner with finance, credit, and commercial teams to translate business challenges into data driven solutions.
- Present actionable insights and influence decision making across multiple business levels.
- Continuously enhance the organisation’s analytics capability and promote data literacy through collaboration and training.
- Around 3+ years’ experience in commercial analysis, FP&A, or sales analytics, ideally within financial services or asset finance.
- Strong analytical mindset and curiosity to explore data from every angle.
- Advanced skills in Power BI, including DAX and data modelling.
- Solid SQL experience—able to write, optimise, and manage queries across multiple data sources.
- Comfortable interpreting commercial and financial data to tell a clear story.
- Excellent communicator who enjoys collaborating with cross functional teams.
- Degree in Finance, Economics, IT, Data Analytics, or a related STEM field.
- Genuine interest in using technology and AI tools to code, automate workflows, and design smarter dashboards.
