The Job
   
In this temporary role, you’ll manage a portfolio of early and late-stage arrears accounts, focusing on building strong relationships with customers to achieve fair and effective outcomes. You’ll be supported by experienced leaders who value integrity and empathy in every interaction.
  
You will be responsible for the following duties:  
  • Making and receiving collection calls to discuss overdue accounts
  • Negotiating and setting up payment arrangements
  • Managing both early and late arrears with professionalism and care
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date notes in internal systems
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to meet team goals
This is a 4-month temporary assignment offering an immediate start, $40 per hour plus super, and the opportunity to work with a professional, customer-focused team.
  
  
You
   
To be successful in this role, you’ll be comfortable speaking with customers over the phone, confident in handling sensitive conversations, and able to find practical solutions that work for all parties.
  
You’ll also bring:  
  • Minimum 2 years prior experience working within collections
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • A calm, empathetic, and professional manner
  • Good attention to detail and reliable follow-through
  • A positive attitude and collaborative mindset
