The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Collections Officer to join a high-performing collections team. Reporting to the Collections Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing customer accounts while delivering empathetic, compliant, and commercially sound solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing inbound and outbound calls relating to overdue customer accounts which are approximately 30 days past due
- Working collaboratively with customers to understand their circumstances and agree on suitable repayment arrangements
- Clearly explaining financial obligations and next steps
- Liaising with internal teams to resolve customer queries efficiently
- Working towards KPIs while maintaining strong compliance and quality standards
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Minimum 12 months experience in collections within financial services
- Strong communication skills with a customer-focused and empathetic approach
- Confidence managing high-volume calls in a fast-paced environment
- The ability to balance customer outcomes with commercial objectives
- A professional, reliable, and team-oriented attitude
