The Job…
  
You’ll join a supportive and professional collections team focused on helping customers find practical solutions to manage their accounts. This role requires strong communication skills, empathy and the ability to negotiate positive outcomes for both the customer and business.
  
You will be responsible for the following duties:  
  • Handling inbound and outbound calls regarding overdue telecommunications, utilities and financial services accounts
  • Negotiating suitable payment arrangements aligned to customer circumstances and business requirements
  • Achieving individual and team KPIs and performance targets
  • Conducting skip tracing activities to locate customers and update account information
  • Maintaining accurate account notes and records across internal systems
  • Working closely with leaders who provide ongoing coaching and support

To be successful in this role, you will bring:  
  • Minimum 6 months experience within collections, working within a high-volume call centre environment, ideally in financial services, telecommunications or utilities.
  • A professional and confident phone manner
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Resilience, empathy and a solutions-focused approach
  • The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • A positive team-focused attitude and willingness to learn
