The Opportunity
Reporting to the Commercial Team Leader, your core responsibilities will include:
- Managing commercial collections and recoveries by proactively contacting customers, negotiating suitable repayment arrangements, and escalating overdue accounts where required
- Handling both secured and unsecured loan accounts — including PPSR enforcement, coordinating repossessions, and supporting legal recovery actions
- Assessing risk by identifying early signs of delinquency and recommending appropriate recovery strategies
- Ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining accurate records, and liaising with legal teams when necessary
- Communicating professionally and empathetically to preserve strong client relationships while maximising recoveries
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- 12–18 months of experience in commercial collections within financial services
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence in negotiating positive outcomes and building client rapport
- A proactive, team-oriented attitude
