Reporting to senior leadership and contributing to performance and service strategy, this is a hands-on leadership role with accountability for team, operational and client outcomes.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead, coach and develop a team of collections & hardship professionals to drive consistent performance
- Oversee day-to-day operations across a diverse client portfolio
- Act as a key relationship manager and trusted advisor to clients
- Deliver structured reporting, performance insights and proactive communication
- Manage escalations and complex matters with a calm, solutions-focused approach
- Review processes, workflows and KPIs to optimise service delivery and outcomes
- Contribute to client retention and long-term partnership growth
You
You are an experienced Collections Manager who understands both operational performance and commercial client dynamics. You will bring experience in the following areas and demonstrate the personal qualities below:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience leading collections and hardship teams, preferably within a financial services environment
- Strong client-facing capability and stakeholder management experience
- A commercial mindset with the ability to balance results and long-term relationships
- Experience working within KPI-driven environments and service-level frameworks
- Clear, confident communication and strong leadership presence
- The ability to uplift team capability while maintaining accountability
