The Department is currently seeking enthusiastic Client Engagement Officers to work within their diverse team on a contract ASAP until 24th Dec 2025 with strong extension opportunities!
Please note, this role is on-site full-time in Belconnen.
The Job
Reporting through to a Team Leader, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Provide client-focused support to diverse individuals via in-person, email, or phone
- Manage complaints and client concerns
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain accurate records across databases
- Escalate and refer clients to additional services when needed
- Ensure compliance with legislation, policies, and standards
- Handle initial client concerns and complaints
- Provide administrative support to ensure efficient service delivery (inbox management, application processing)
You
To be successful in this opportunity, you must have experience in the following areas & possess the below personal qualities:
- Minimum 12 months experience working within a similar client service or customer support role
- Cultural awareness and basic understanding of housing complexities needed
- Strong communication skills required for various situations
- Previous experience or understanding of the Government/community services sectors is advantageous
- Ability to confidently work across multiple systems and databases
