Our client is a well-known NSW Government organisation committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences and making it easier for the community to access government services.
They are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Call Centre Officers to join their high-performing and dynamic team on an initial 3-month contract, based in Grafton with hybrid working arrangements available.
The Job
Reporting through to a Team Leader, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Respond to phone and live-chat enquiries and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality customer service.
- Accurately process applications and data within required timeframes using relevant systems.
- Maintain accurate records of customer communications and feedback.
- Provide effective administrative support, including data entry, word processing and spreadsheet use.
- Perform general administrative tasks to support team operations.
You
To qualify for this opportunity, you must have experience in the following areas and possess the personal qualities below:
- Minimum 6 months’ experience in a contact centre or high-volume processing environment.
- Experience working in the government sector is desirable.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work across multiple systems including Microsoft Office Suite and Teams.
- Demonstrated customer service skills with strong attention to detail.
