They are currently seeking a dedicated Assurance Analyst in this exciting contract role for 6 months with potential to extend. Please note, this is a hybrid role requiring the successful candidate to work 3 days a week from the Sydney CBD office.
The Job
Reporting into the Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Support the effective implementation of the enterprise-wide compliance management framework, risk management framework and broader risk and governance policies across the business.
- Undertake key control testing and reporting on design and operating effectiveness of the control framework.
- Support the business to identify key controls and implement testing plans to identify control gaps and weakness.
- Undertake risk-based deep dives on high-risk areas to assess the strength of the control framework.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective engagement with the business’ risk and governance strategy.
You
To be successful for this contract, you must have experience with the following:
- 2-5 years’ experience in a similar Assurance Analyst role.
- Background in risk management or audit, with a strong understanding of risks and controls, and risk frameworks.
- Strong stakeholder skills as well as a strong analytical mindset.
- Background in insurance or financial services is highly regarded.
- Knowledge of data analytics and GRC.
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills.
