Reporting to the Senior Finance Advisor, in this Finance Officer role, you will be responsible for:
- Provide financial administration support across a large portfolio of civil infrastructure projects.
- Check, prepare and submit financial approval documentation and process claims.
- Prepare and submit general journals, calculate and process timesheet journals, and undertake contract reconciliations.
- Review and action cost sheet line-item requests, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate tracking registers in Excel and SharePoint Online.
- Liaise with Project Managers on financial requirements, carry out governance checks prior to processing, and provide guidance or training to team members and stakeholders as required.

To be successful in this role, you must have experience in the following:
- Proven experience delivering transactional finance support, including processing, reconciliations and financial administration tasks.
- Experience with large government ERP systems (such as SAP-based finance systems) highly regarded.
- Keen attention to detail with strong accuracy in financial administration and transactional processing.
- Proven ability to prioritise workloads, manage competing demands, and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and demonstrate respect for colleagues and stakeholders.
